March Madness or Baseball

No, I don't watch basketball.... On TV that is.... Only if our children are playing... Dave loves March Madness as well as Spencer. They don't get to watch a lot but when they get a chance they love it! So why do they call it March Madness? I have no idea... Is March a Madness month for you? For me, it's a month where I look forward to spring! I put away all my snowman and winter decorations and put up spring decorations. For me, March has never been my favorite month. I'm not sure why, maybe the weather... but I have always felt this way, as long as I can remember.
I do like spring break... which means vacation time! I also like the start of the season of baseball practice & baseball. Baseball has been a BIG part of our family. Quinn started playing at the age of 4 (T-ball) as well as Spencer. ( Dave's Grandpa played in the minor league.) Lots & lots of years of baseball practice, games & tournament's. Dave and I were trying to think how many hours we have spent in our married life watching our boys practice & play baseball. All we know is ... too many to count and we have loved every minute of it!
We also live in one of the most loyal baseball cities ever. We love the Cardinals! I think you can't live in St. Louis if you are not a Cardinals fan. Fans here are very loyal fans. If they have a winning season or losing season fans still love them. We love going to the Cardinal games. The new stadium is nice, even though I'm partial to the old one. I was sad when they started tearing it down.
It's been fun seeing the Cardinals go to the Worlds Series twice, go to the playoffs many time and watching them win the World Series once. That was pretty exciting! Anyway, it's March Madness and all I can think of it's the beginning of baseball season! What's up with that???
