Is It Genetic, Learned or Neither?

Okay, today I'm finishing up my posts & pictures and went upstairs to take a picture of the bathroom Dave gutted & completed 1 year ago. Well, I glanced at Alexis' room and her bed was not made and she has her pajamas on her floor ( I picked them up and put them on her bed, as you can see in the picture.) This is very common with her. She tries and reasons with me on this subject. "Why make your bed when you are going to sleep in it tonight?" "Why put away my pajamas when I'm just going to wear them again tonight?" I just chuckle at her and proceed to tell her, " it makes you ready to start your day when your bed is made." She just looks at me like I'm nuts. Dave has the same motto Lexi does about making the bed.
On the other hand I go into Spencer's room and sure enough bed made, room clean!
I come downstairs from taking pictures of their rooms and go into the kitchen and sure enough, Lexi has our kitchen table covered with HER bags HER jackets.... no one else but hers. Similar trait like her Dad. When he comes home from work, he unloads his belongings on our desk in our kitchen. His planner, watch, phone, pen, papers, ect.
Lexi's spot is the kitchen table and Dave's spot is the desk in the kitchen. No trace of Spencer or my things anywhere. Sooooo, Lexi will come home from school and I will tell her to clean all her belongings off the table... she will, and by tomorrow afternoon the kitchen table will have her belongings on it again.

Cute pictures! And it was nice to see all the updates-- you're pretty good at keeping up on those posts. We need to do better on our side :)
Love you!

HAAA, it sounds like my kids. But the other way around. Alex is VERY clean and Mitchell well lets just say he needs a wife to help him because I am done trying. To early to tell with the other two.

That is so funny Paige. I am like Lexi and Dave but am trying to break the habit!
