I Love This Time Of Year!

I'm done decorating the house. I have all my Christmas packages to be shipped, shipped. I mailed out my Christmas cards. I've had one Christmas party. I need to do some baking. I still need to go Christmas shopping. We wait until my birthday to go (BIG) Christmas shopping. Dave doesn't like shopping. Every year for my birthday gift, he goes shopping with me all day, no complaint's. It's WONDERFUL. I love to shop, one of my most favorite things and Dave couldn't think of anything worse. This is how I know he REALLY LOVES me!

I just really love this time of year. It has always been my favorite. I love the hussel and bussel of people. I love the Christmas lights outside. I love the gift of giving. I love hearing about the Savior and his birth. I love Christmas music. I love snuggling in warm blankets. I love the children having a break from school and being home. I love the smells. I love the cold air. I love hats, scarves & gloves. I love a snowy day. I love the sounds of jingle bells. I love looking at all the festive decorations and food. I love all the gathering of family & friends. I love sitting around the fireplace watching Christmas movies and turning off all the lights, but the Christmas lights.
