Oh, how I LOVE a good sale!

Being married to Dave has taught me a lot. For example... sales are good! He has taught me this principle from the beginning of our marriage and I appreciate him teaching me patient and waiting for good sales on top name brands. After 25 year of marriage I'm hooked on good sales for expensive things.

I can't wait for the end of season sales now. I get so excited! You don't know how proud I am to save 100's of dollars.. and it's worth waiting a bit, even if you need to wait for next season to wear it. Typically sales start when the season is still in and you can wear it the same season.

A couple of Saturdays ago, Dave and I went to a movie. We needed sometime to kill before the movie started so we walked the mall (theater is in the mall.) We happened to go into Macy's, which always has great SALES! Dave said, "Do you need a new coat"? I can never have to many coats. I'm a coat person. Maybe this coat fetish I have is to replace my dislike for sweaters. Don't like them, never have and never will. Anyway, I found a perfect coat. It's a 1 Madison, brown, pea coat. It was originally priced at 189.99 and I got it for 48.87 with tax 51.47. WOW, I was so excited and the sale lady was equally as excited about the markdown I received.

I was so proud!

A couple of years ago I found a cute coat from the Gap. It was originally 220.00 and I got it for 20.00. Remember that Erica! It's very cute too.

Well, this morning I got online to shop for winter clothes for Alexis and Spencer. Did I mention my adorable Alexis will ONLY wear Abercrombie or Hollister. She is very picky about her clothes. I completely understand her because I was the same way as a teenager. Hmm... I admit I'm still the same way. I just love designer clothes. Anyway, she knows I will only buy when things are on sale. This morning i got onto Hollisters site and found such great deals in their clearance items. I got Alexis & Spencer coats for next year. Wasn't looking for coats but remember, I have a love for coats. Alexis' was 200.00 marked down to 29.00. Spencer's 240.00 marked down to 39.00. I ended up getting a pair of jeans, shirts, 2 scarves, some t-shirts for with the coats for a totally of 169.00. Abercrombie is having good sales too. Got a few items from them as well. Dave, thanks for teaching me and our children the principles "GOOD" sales.

I LOVE Paige Jeans... they are the best jeans ever. Quiet expensive, but you can catch them on sale from time to time. If not, the price is well worth it!
