I really need every one's advice on this issue. Should I color my hair a lighter brown or keep it my natural color... dark brown? Every one who knows me well, knows my hair grows very fast... faster than the norm. I have my hair colored to hide those "nasty grays" and within 2 to 3 weeks I can see my gray hair growing out. I'm just wondering if I went a lot lighter, I wouldn't need to color my hair as frequently. Dave & Spencer think I should go lighter and Alexis wants me too keep my hair "as is" she LOVES dark brown hair. As I have aged, my hair has become darker and darker as equally curly.
Please let me know soon, because I'm due for another coloring (highlight - lowlight) this week. My hairstylist tells me she has never worked on a family of girls, Me, Erica & Alexis who's hair grows so fast and she has been in the business for over 30 years. I've been with her awhile so she knows my hair and understands why I might want to go a lot lighter to help hide those "nasty grays." She is a wonderful hair stylist and I trust her completely, but she wants me to feel comfortable with the change if I decide to go ahead with the change. Please, let me know your thoughts! Light Brown or Dark Brown.

If you want to look younger (which you already look great for your age!), stylists always say lighter gives a more youthful look and darker gives a more mature look. It might be nice to go lighter for the summer and then darker in the winter... either one would look good! I highlighted mine a couple months ago a lighter color just for the summer so you might want to do that, but either would be great!
You should try the lighter- if you don't like it you can always go dark again. And like erica said, going light for the summer is fun. Post pictures of what you decide!!!
I feel your pain about keeping that gray covered!!!!
I usually go lighter in the summer... Try that you may love it.
I go lighter around my face where my gray comes in quickly.
