Spencer... Mom do you have any errands for me to run?
Me... Sorry, I don't have any...
Spencer... Please, can you make some up?
I'm a little overdue posting this post.
Spencer passed both (written & driving) tests the first time, no problem.
When Spencer left with the instructor I could see in his body how nervous he was. As they both walked out to the car, she had Spencer get in and she stood back and had Spencer do all the signals. I'm watching and thinking... good job Spencer, your getting them all right! The instructor got into the car and Spencer backed out and left onto the busy street. Out of site for 10 minutes, I sat in the chair waiting for their return. Finally, Spencer came back into the parking lot where I could see him do his last test... PARALLEL PARKING. I was watching him through the window, I was so nervous for him. I could see the instructor point to the parallel parking spot for Spencer to drive over too. Spencer drove over to the spot and stopped. I saw him take a DEEP breath and he proceeded to parallel park. He did it perfectly the first time! I was so proud of him! As he was walking in after the test, Spencer and the instructor were talking and laughing. I knew he had passed. He was all smiles when he saw me!

One more child to go!

Oh the joys of a new driver. I love that stage where they want to drive. He is darling.
So, he can help you all drive to Tennessee next time! Tell him I am looking forward to him taking us sight seeing in St. Louis!
