Perfect Job

Spencer has worked for the YMCA for a year now. He got the job when he was 16 and loves it!

It's the perfect job for him. He's a sports official and a coach. He coaches flag football, basketball & baseball. Couldn't fine a more perfect job for him. They work really well with him during the school year with his sports and will work around Spencer's schedule. We don't like our children to have a lot of hours with a job during school... just one to give them a little spending money here and there.

The other night I went to watch Spence coach his baseball team. It's coach pitch... Spencer was full of light when I saw him playing baseball again! He had the biggest grin on his face pitching the baseball to the boys and hearing the ball hit the bat! Love that sound. Many of you may not know, but baseball is a BIG part of our family! Both, Quinn & Spencer started playing when they were 4 years old. They fell in love with the game and they both excelled in so many positions. Mainly, pitcher and shortstop for Quinn and Spencer pitcher and left field. They both have an awesome curve ball and a arm that can throw like no other.We spent many days & nights watching and going to tournaments during the spring, summer & fall.

Now he has the opportunity to coach and is reaping the benefits from this experience!
