Wrestling Banquet

Spencer's time is winding down from high school... lots of activities, ceremonies and preparing have been going on before they graduate! Just a couple of weeks ago we attended the wrestling banquet. We go to these every year, but when they are seniors, the feeling you have is different. It's bitter/sweet! Lots of emotions come over me and Dave as we see our children complete their final days of public school. Spencer is in the last month of high school. It doesn't get any easier to let your children go... even when we have done this twice before.
It's exciting to see them grow, mature make plans for their future, but at the same time it's hard to let go!
Spencer has completed his college forms long ago (last fall) and will be attending Utah Valley University when he returns home from his mission. He has been put on the "holding list for missionaries" so he won't need to reapply, when he returns home.. Nice to know schools in Utah will do this for young men who plan to serve missions.
He has been filling out his mission forms (almost finished) and will be sending them June 6. He turns 19, Oct 6.
