Spring Cleaning...

Does anyone spring clean anymore? I really never hear anyone ever talk about it. Is this tradition going to be lost?
Spring cleaning is the practice of thoroughly cleaning a house in the springtime. The practice of spring cleaning is especially prevalent in climates with a cold winter.
The most common usage of spring cleaning refers to the yearly act of cleaning a house from top to bottom which would take place in the first warm days of the year typically in spring, hence the name. However it has also come to be synonymous with any kind of heavy duty cleaning.
Spring is almost here! It’s the perfect time to get your home ready for the warmer climate by cleaning out closets, storing winter clothes and items, and prepping your living space for the bright and flowery season. Spring cleaning is a must in my house and in order to get it (and keep it) the way I want it, a little muscle needs to be put into cleaning and fixing up the place.
During spring cleanings, I pay close attention to my ceiling fans, cleaning off dust and debris. Also door frames, crown molding, and walls get special attention. With more sun pouring into my home, you tend to see everything, so if it’s not completely clean, it doesn’t bode well for the look of my house.
I also like to change the decor in my home to a lighter, brighter look. The bedrooms also get some special treatment with changing of the bedspreads and linens to less heavy comforters and blankets.
