Happy Mothers Day!
I love Mother's Day!
For me, it's a day of celebration...
I always wanted to be a stay at home mom. I remember making this decision when I was around 4. I can remember vividly where I was and what I was doing. I knew that day, even though I was so little... I wanted to stay home with my children and raise them.
It's worked for us and I'm thankful I have been able to do so.
I believe in higher education too... we taught our daughters how important it is to get a college education just like their brothers. It's very important to our family.
Erica received her degree from BYU and has peace knowing she has a degree in case she ever needs to use/rely on it. Alexis plans on continuing her education after high school, as well.
This is why I love MOTHERHOOD so much.
Husband and children showing you how much they love you each day & by making "your day" extra special.
Thank you, Quinn for the call, text, card sending me videos/pictures and wonderful gift!
Thank you, Erica for the call, card, and wonderful gift!
Thank you, Spencer for the skype call... it was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
Thank you, Alexis for pampering me, thoughtful notes, card and wonderful gift!
Thank you, Dave for the text, calls, card and wonderful gift!
We had the privilege to speak/see Spencer on Mother's Day... such a special gift to be able to talk with your missionary! We were so excited!
Spencer looks so good, healthy and happy! He loves his mission a lot! It was wonderful talking with him and being able to see him. It was serene... like he was sitting in the same room with us, chatting away, making funny/goofy faces at Alexis, from time to time. It was fun to hear him talk about the people they are teaching and seeing his face "light up" when he spoke of them. He sure has a love for them.
He spoke to us in Albanian and knows the language very well. It's remakable how fast he has learned it.
He told us he will know Albanian, Austalian and Serbian by the time he completes his mission. We laughed at the Australian part... his companion is from Australia.
We loved every second being able to talk with him!
It was a wondeful gift!
We love you, miss you and are proud of you, Elder Kendalli! ;)
