Blessed with a good friend!

I feel very blessed to have such a good friend in my life. I met her the first week we moved to St Louis. We have been friends for 13 1/2 years. She is five weeks older than me, so she is a bit wiser than myself. I feel so fortunate to have her a part of my life! I've always had a hard time trusting friends motives. I don't know why, but I've always struggled with this. Maybe, because I have been hurt so much by friends. They seem to always come and go. Nancy is different. I feel she is more like a sister to me. I don't think I have ever had a more compassionate friend in my life.
For example, every year on my Mom's death anniversary she brings me flowers. It has been 10 years and every year on the date (Jan 20) of her anniversary she comes knocking on my door with flowers. This year she brings me 10 white roses... and a big bag of M&M's, my favorite.
She told me I deserve a little treat this year.
