Christmas and New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
It was very quiet around here, only having Alexis. She was a trooper though... she carried on the tradition getting up at 5:00 am all by herself. She came into our room and jumped on our bed telling us to get up, get up... loved every minute of it. We were happy to get up. Moments like these, are going to be the hardest when our children are all gone & grown up. Thanks for spending so much time with us Alexis over the Holiday Break. :) It meant a lot to me and Dad. You get it... how important family is. It's wonderful.
LOVED having Christmas on SUNDAY!
We missed Spencer, knowing he was in good hands at the MTC made it more comforting for us. We knew we wouldn't get a phone call from him. the MTC let us know in the beginning, missionaries who were in the MTC would not be getting to call home. To many missionaries to accommodate all those calls. Understandable. We were surprised with an e-mail. They allowed the missionaries to e-mail parents for 30 minutes, Christmas evening. We were unaware... what a great gift to receive an e-mail from him, other than P-day! It was great!
We missed Quinn and Erica's family too. I'm thankful for SKYPE and for today's technology to help it make it more bearable when your family leave apart.
